Christmas is a time when you get homesick -- even when you're home.
Carole Nelson Douglas

Christmas is a time for family and friends to be together.  It's a time to share stories, laughter and hugs. Unfortunately, not everyone can come together to gather 'round the tree.  There are those who live many miles away, those who have passed on to our Lord's abode, and others who choose to share their time with those less fortunate, in helping out the needy.

Amongst all the joy Christmas is suppose to bring, it's okay for us to feel melancholy at some point, Harry certainly did.  When this happens, it's an excellent time to look inside ourselves and see how we can let a loved one know just how important they are to us.  Not through the present you hand them, but through spoken words that are given, a true gift from your heart.

We should never be afraid, or feel uncomfortable, to tell someone just how much they mean to us.  You can't wrap love in a pretty package and wait for someone to open it.  It's a gift that needs to be opened immediately, by wrapping your arms around them and telling them just how special they are to you and to others.

This season, give the gift of love.  It's the best gift anyone will receive and the one special gift they will remember throughout their life.

Merry Christmas to all
wishing you peace & love
from me to you~

This is beautiful, Barb. We should not put so much emphasis on gifts when the most precious gift is love.
So I want you to know that you are a very special person...you will always be a part of my life..no matter what. Lots of good memories.
As I decorated my tree again this year I thought of your Mom and Dad and you when I put the handmade ornaments that your Mom made all those years ago. They are so cute and I always get compliments on those. there are the two ice skaters, the mother cat and her three little kittens who lost their mittens, the little mailbox with the tiny letter in it, and the one that holds a hershey kiss.
All very important to me.
I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year.
I love you, Marlene

I'm so happy to hear the decorations are still enjoyed by you. They bring happy memories. I love you very much and am sorry we don't see each other. You are placed in a very special spot in my heart. I have so many fond memories of time spent with you and your family during the holidays. As someone told me many years ago: "If it weren't for my past life experiences, I wouldn't be the person I am today." Thank you for all the love you gave me throughout the years, and all the good times I was able to experience when amongst your family. YOU are the special person and I learned a few things from you along the way.
Barb
